The trial began with the court examining the objections presented by GIRAMATA’s lawyers where they doubted the credibility of the witness who did the tests on EMILE’s body where he published a report stating that Emile was not killed by an accident. doctor ANDRE MWALE, who works at the main hospital (centre) started by explaining to the court how they work and told the court that they perform autopsy when requested by the court, government agencies or people who have a relationship with the deceased. He said that they examined the body of EMILE at the request of his family only when the family asked them to go to the local police and they wrote to them asking them to examine the body.

He says that a person killed in an accident can be killed by losing a lot of blood or if there is damage to the flesh such as the heart, lungs… he said that the body of HABIMANA EMILE had no injuries and he said that they also examined the flesh of the stomach and found that there were no diseases or diseases. The trial ended at noon and will resume tomorrow, September 18, 2024, where witnesses will be heard from Eitel, a newspaper that will continue to follow the case.
